Turns out, the President of the United States shoots CANON! It looks to be a Canon 5D with a Canon 17-40mmL lens. Well, that's my guess anyway...
So, yesterday I got my car rig, so I informed my friend and we decided to do a photoshoot. This would be my first ever automotive photoshoot, and I think I did pretty well. Things I would change is to get more angles of the car, and have the rig on the car more steady. Anyway, here's some of the photos...

Day 116 of my 365 project with Bokeh!
Last week's popular photo is my self portrait of my camera and I. It was pretty much a random photo, and I was just testing out my capabilities with my strobist photography. Setup goes as follows...
285hv, 1/8th, high right, shoot-through umbrella
430ex, 1/16th, low left, reflective umbrella
So, I got my computer up and running again. I had to reformat my computer since it was acting up. Unfortunately, ALL of my photos ever taken are now completely gone! I had plans to publish a book with my 365 project, but that will not happen anymore since I need to have high-resolution photos to get it published at a good quality. Ohh well, lesson learned. Now I will invest in an external hard drive, that way I can backup my photos without having to worry about them getting deleted if this happens again...
Labels: randomnessalright so I messed up my computer where I do all my photography stuff. So, there will not be any updates for a week or so until I get my new computer, unfortunately.
Day 115 of my 365 project with Bokeh! Another late update, haha. Was grubbing yet again!
Day 114 of my 365 project with Bokeh! A little late on the update. I was grubbing at Denny's, so I wasn't able to make it in time for a computer, haha...

R.I.P...
Aghh, forgot to put the Photo of the week up last sunday again! With that being said, the popular photo of the week for last week is this random photo I took when we were taking our trip to San Diego back to Las Vegas. All I did was point the camera into the backseat, take the shot, and this was the result...

The photo below was an experimental test for a home-made ringflash that I made out of cardboard paper. What a ringflash is, is a modifier of some sore that directs the light from a flash into a ring shape to give a special effect, such as creating a ring around the pupils of the eyes, as well as other effects. Companies also make a dedicated ringflash that does not direct light, but is an actual light that is shaped into a ring. Later on when I start doing more photoshoots and start to get noticed, I hope to have a professional ringflash like the Alienbee's ABR800. This photo was taken almost exactly a year ago. 4-30-08...

Day 104 of my 365 project with Bokeh!
Haha, I forgot to post a Popular Photo of the week for the past week. But anyway, the popular photo for last week is Day 93's photo. It's a photo of my friend Jimmy practicing a fs lipslide to do in a line for some footage...
This was the photo I was going to put instead of the actual day 103's photo. Although the photo seemed reasonable enough to put on the blog at the time, my mom pointed out that there were some caterpillars in the plants in my backyard. So I took the opportunity to make a photo for my 365 project with the caterpillars instead of this fence photo...
The different angles I took of the plants in my backyard that had about 20 or so caterpillars. First time doing some macro photography. I think I did well for my first outing, what do you think? Canon 30d with a 60mm macro lens...
