So, last night there was a pretty big storm over my area for about 20 minutes. I decided to try to take some photos of the lightning, but it turns out I was only able to get 1 decent photo, haha. Ohh well, one photo, but a great one at that!



And then, back in late 2007, I was able to take 2 photos of lightning as well. This was probably 2 months after I picked up a dslr camera for the first time and try taking photos as a hobby. The storm was very similar to the one last night, but it was not directly over my house.

And now, I have made it another 100 days! Only 165 left to go, haha! Lately I have been taking my 365 photos indoors and at night, but I'm going to try to change that to bring more moods to my project.

I guess you can say I like reflections, haha...

This week's popular photo goes to this one photo I took at the Jtuned carshow at the Formula D event last weekend. This little kid was polishing up the rims, wiping down the car body, and detailing in general, haha. Start off young! Future car enthusiast for sure!

So, today my cousin got married! Unfortunately I did not get any coverage, because right after I took this shot, my flash died. Then I was not able to take any decent photos for the rest of the time, haha.

This was the photo I was thinking of using instead of the actual photo from Day 193. The reason why I did not was because it seems like a typical sort of photo. Day 193's photo has texture, and the photo has a different type of blur effect in the background.

This week's popular photo is this self-portrait I took on the stairs of my house. I was pretty much just bored and decided to practice some lighting, and now it is my myspace default, haha...

So, over the weekend I got the chance to take photos of some drifting, a car show, and some drag racing. It was an alright event. It seems as though this particular event becomes less and less as the years go by, but it's something to do, and an event you should still go to if you're a car enthusiast. So, for some reason, the photo below is the most popular photo on my flickr account. I really have no idea why, haha. I never linked it anywhere, and I do not think I posted it anywhere. The photo is a street skate session at this one spot we went to for the first time. We were not able to do much our first time around, but when we came back the second time, we got more done. So, I decided to snap some pics, and this was one of the results...

Ahhh, the BMW! The photo below was an opportunity I just had to take! My cousins came to my house with a new BMW. Seeing as nobody in my family that has lived with us has had a car as nice as this, I tried my best to take a couple of shots at night. Well, that did not go well, so I tried to doing some mood lighting with a single flash off to the side. I think it worked out alright. At the time I was experimenting with lighting techniques and I was new to the concept.
