So, last night there was a pretty big storm over my area for about 20 minutes. I decided to try to take some photos of the lightning, but it turns out I was only able to get 1 decent photo, haha. Ohh well, one photo, but a great one at that!



And then, back in late 2007, I was able to take 2 photos of lightning as well. This was probably 2 months after I picked up a dslr camera for the first time and try taking photos as a hobby. The storm was very similar to the one last night, but it was not directly over my house.

So, today my cousin got married! Unfortunately I did not get any coverage, because right after I took this shot, my flash died. Then I was not able to take any decent photos for the rest of the time, haha.

So, over the weekend I got the chance to take photos of some drifting, a car show, and some drag racing. It was an alright event. It seems as though this particular event becomes less and less as the years go by, but it's something to do, and an event you should still go to if you're a car enthusiast. So, overnight, the page views on the blog went over 3000! I want to thank everyone that is still keeping an eye on my 365 project, as well as just my photography in general! I'm about half way done through my project, and it seems as though time is going by so slow! Haha. But, when I look back at the project, it will remind me of what I did for every day of the year!

So, today we went to Pharmacy skateshop to go to a Leo Romero signing and Heath Kirchart signing. Pretty cool seeing them in person, and I got some Emerica pants for free from product tosses, haha. Perfect sizing too! But anyway, here's some photos...

Turns out, the President of the United States shoots CANON! It looks to be a Canon 5D with a Canon 17-40mmL lens. Well, that's my guess anyway...

So, yesterday I got my car rig, so I informed my friend and we decided to do a photoshoot. This would be my first ever automotive photoshoot, and I think I did pretty well. Things I would change is to get more angles of the car, and have the rig on the car more steady. Anyway, here's some of the photos...

So, I got my computer up and running again. I had to reformat my computer since it was acting up. Unfortunately, ALL of my photos ever taken are now completely gone! I had plans to publish a book with my 365 project, but that will not happen anymore since I need to have high-resolution photos to get it published at a good quality. Ohh well, lesson learned. Now I will invest in an external hard drive, that way I can backup my photos without having to worry about them getting deleted if this happens again...

Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 lens! Great lens to say the least. Produces great colors and has the ability to do macro photography very nicely. If you are deciding between a Canon and Sigma 70-200mm, and want to save a bit of money, I would say go with the Sigma!
